Final Throws, fresh from West London, fed up with the identikit indie
clogging up the media currently, pointedly deciding even from their
inception they were to show more ingenuity and creativity than the
majority of bands currently peddling their wares. Taking their
influences from a wide range of styles, their connections with
legendary underground label True Tiger are shown through the
dubstep-esque, low slung basslines and heavy percussion sound. The love
of dance music, techno and electro shown through the distorted synths
that help define the Final Throws ‘sound’. much like a Korg synthesiser
colliding with the world. Final Throws want to push the underground
influences into a sound that can entice an audience, that can be
moulded into songs capable of capturing peoples attention from the
first listen. The aural equivalent of Tim Burton directing Batman,
Final Throws hold no regard for what’s currently popular. They seek to
become what is popular.
