I watched a few Unsigned Bands Live streaming their gigs LIVE on www.gotseen.com!
What an awesome idea!
Its free! Its to a global audience and i presume easy to do! When Unsigned Bands ask how can they promote themselves... surely Live Streaming is the 21st Century way isnt it????
You still got to gig, flyer, interview, social network etc.etc.etc..... But Live Streaming your gig is gonna hit a massive audience!! Also you will be seen by people that may never see you, or even hear of you! ALSO these people may from different Countries which opens up other possibilities for Unsigned Bands!!!!

There are so many UNSIGNED BANDS that are around today! AND quite frankly there are alot of artists that deserve a break!
I have seen many major artists.. which are cool, but the real MUSIC is with UNSIGNED BANDS!
There is nothing better than LVE MUSIC! Everybody should support there local ARTIST and get to the local pub and see a gig every week! SUPPORT these artists as they are the future of MUSIC .. in my humble opinion!
Also ONLINE MUSIC is where the growth of the music industry will be! MUSIC VIDEOS, DOWNLOAD MUSIC, LIVE VIDEO STREAMS (as per this site) MUSIC FORUMS etc etc.. are the future! WELL DONE GOTSEEN!

I cant believe that these Unsigned bands have to constantly GIG for FREE (giving us FREE MUSIC) just to be seen and potentially have the chance of meeting that one person who may be the guy to GET SIGNED with and get a RECORD DEAL!
Thats why i think that the internet is a usually free way for unsigned artists / bands to promote themselves and their MUSIC!
Next time that you are stuck for something to do on a night..... go to a MUSIC GIG! Support your UNSIGNED BANDS! Its amazing how many diverse artists are out there.. that definately could get signed!

Which brings me to a further question... how on earth does an UNSIGNED BAND .. GET SIGNED and get a RECORD DEAL! IS it a million to one chance? Is the X factor the only way??
Or is it hard work.. gigging, press releases, phone calls, demo's... going online.. social networking, embracing new technology like LIVE STREAMING your gigs... its a mountain to climb!

'They' say there is a formula... to become an expert at something.. you have to do it for 10,000 hours of practice!
If that is the case.. you unsigned bands / artists have gotta keep gigging etc etc! Remember perseverence is KING!
