Born in Lincoln,Nebraska but grew up in Springfield,Mo.. Took up Electric Bass in 1972 learning songs by the Beatles,Grand Funk,James Gang,Johnny Winter,Stones and many other classic Rock  bands of the era.

  Later  gravitating to progressive rock such as:Kansas,Yes,Styx,King Crimson,UK,Jethro Tull.

Brief stints into Country music (classic and contemporary).

Then  heavy into Blues artists such as: BB King,Albert King,Albert Collins,Freddy King,Robert Cray,Robben Ford,and hundreds of others.

Finally moving into Soul/R&B/Funk and enjoying it the most.  This is where I belong!
