From the ashes of a dying music scene, four musicians decided to take the concept of a band into their own hands.  5 years later Walking Ionia is still holding down the fort, writing hits and taking names. Opening for artists such as Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Shinedown, Reggie and the Full Effect, It dies today and many others as well as gaining interest and support from Roc Nation, Def Jam, Sony, Capitol, Giant, and Universal Records.

West Michigan natives; Mike "Mickers" McNally on bass, Aaron "flint" Flint on drums, Chris "Dragon" Kies on vocals, and Josh "Cougar" Stover on backup vocals and guitars, are a force to be reckoned with.  Coming together from the midst a talented musical community, these four brought their own unique styles together to create a new Grand Rapids super group.
