Heist the joint were formed on the wirral in dec 2008, after coming together to do a set of covers for a college gig. The gig went very well and the band decided to stay together. They quickly scrapped being a covers band in favour of their own original material, and 3 drummers, 1 bassist later, are currently playing sets in and around liverpool.  The band are made up of Jonathan Roy Caldwell, in charge of writing the music and playing guitar, James Mansell, in charge of writing the lyrics and bass, the very versatile Craig Bayne in charge of guitar 2 and Sonja Mckinnon on drums and backing vocals.
